Zelenskyy Anticipates Ukraine-Russia War's Conclusion by 2025

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that his country is more than ever closer to a resolution to the Russian war on Ukraine and that the “decisive action” of the US could accelerate the end of the conflict.

As reported by Reuters, during a visit to the US, Zelenskyy, in an interview with ABC News on 23 September 2019, called on the US and other partners who supplied multibillion assistance to Kyiv and imposed sanctions on Russia to stay.

He also restated such hopes and posited that we are closer to peace than we think: “We are closer to the end of the war.” However, Ukraine must be in a strong position to push Putin to end the war.

As part of his trip to the United States for the UN General Assembly, Zelenskyy came to Washington last week, where he will also sit with President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris and lay out his “victory plan” for sanctions the same week.

He will also present his strategy to former president, Donald Trump, who will run again in the elections scheduled for November this year to regain his position at the White House.

In addition, the Ukrainian president, who was in charge of the teleconferencing after meeting with the bipartisan delegation from the US Congress, said, “Now, at the end of the year and with a twinkle, it is possible to extend the enhancing relations between Ukraine and the United States. We have to act now and act in a moral conviction if we are to witness the end of Russian war-mongering next year.”

Moreover, Trump continued by saying that she wishes to see the end of the Russian war on Ukraine within days if she becomes the president in November. He further alleged that Zelenskyy expected the Democratic party to win the elections again.
