Lebanon Faces Deadliest Day Since 2006: Civilians in Terror and Tension

September 23, 2024, was the most brutal day in Lebanon as it suffered its bastaise period in decades, where airstrikes by Israel killed about 500 persons and at least 1,645 were injured.

CNN reported that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) boasted of having destroyed ‘over 1600 Hezbollah military locations in southern Lebanon and Bekaa’ in one day.

Common injuries that were observable were experienced in women and children, including the day after the heavy bombardments.
