Design flaws in the Samsung Galaxy Ring present significant repair hurdles.

How much do you like the Samsung Galaxy Ring? If so, steer clear of these repair difficulties!

If the Samsung Galaxy Ring is broken or its battery runs out, it is apparently exceedingly hard to fix.

A new article claims that the ring's design makes repairs difficult because opening it up might make it useless.

According to iFixit, the 400 charge cycles of the lithium-ion battery are the main cause of the problem.

It is almost impossible to fix the ring without seriously harming it after the battery runs out and fails.

A CT scan showed that the battery and circuits are inside the epoxy resin-encased ring.

Repairs are made more difficult by the press connector that links the circuit board to the battery.

Accessing the circuit board could harm the battery because this connector isn't soldered.

If these results hold true, a dead battery or damage to the circuit board could render the Galaxy Ring useless.
