'Fast and Furious' Star Tyrese Gibson Detained Amid Child Support Dispute

Famous for his role in the 'Fast and Furious' franchise, Tyrese Gibson has been taken into custody due to a dispute over child support payments to his ex-wife, Samantha Lee. This Monday, Gibson appeared in court amid a contentious ongoing fight over his financial obligations.

According to TMZ, Judge Kevin Farmer from Fulton County is overseeing the case. Last month, Gibson was ordered to pay $10,000 per month. However, he failed to comply with this court order, leading to him being held in contempt. To avoid confinement, Gibson must clear a $73,000 debt, excluding an additional $7,500 legal fee owed to his ex-wife.

In a now-removed Instagram post, Gibson alleged collusion involving his ex-wife’s attorney and Judge Farmer, claiming attempts to have the judge recused from the case were denied. Despite these controversies, Gibson is reportedly working towards settling his financial obligations and resolving the dispute.
